Home for Dinner
Sharing a meal with loved ones is always a special occasion and it’s even more special when it raises funds to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon. That’s what Home for Dinner is all about. By hosting dinner and having guests donate instead of bringing wine or a dish, you can help Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon provide a place to stay for families who need to travel far from home when their child requires life-saving medical treatment.
Your next family meal or virtual get-together can have a huge impact, while still following current social distancing recommendations and public health guidelines.
About Home for Dinner
Hosting a Home for Dinner event or virtual gathering is the perfect way to elevate a meal with those you love into something even more meaningful. Instead of asking guests to bring something for dinner, hosts can invite their friends and family to donate to their personal fundraising page, so that families with sick children can continue to share meals and moments together while they heal at Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon.
In 2020, more than 500 participants raised funds to provide 4,000 nights of comfort and support for families in need. Supporters, Ronald McDonald House families, corporate partners, and special guests from 170 locations in BC, Yukon, and beyond, also came together to celebrate this incredible impact at our first virtual celebration.
