Fundraising Story

ADPi Diamond Ball

Raised $43,000 in 2026

Volunteer-led events that return year over year are truly the backbone of our community fundraising for families at Ronald McDonald House BC & Yukon. One such fundraiser with an incredible legacy of support is the ADPi Diamond Ball.

Alpha Delta Pi’s international philanthropy partner is Ronald McDonald House, meaning that families worldwide have benefited from the caring community of ADPi. Here in BC & Yukon, UBC’s Beta Kappa Chapter has supported families for decades through volunteering in the House and raising funds to support our programs.

The Diamond Ball is an annual softball tournament which brings together the UBC community for a great day on the diamond in support of BC and Yukon families.  Funds raised help offset the cost of overnight stays, provide warm meals for families, and support the programs and activities that create a sense of comfort and community during difficult times.

The 2026 Tournament raised an incredible $43,000 through the Diamond Ball, as well as through raffles, bake sales, and other events taking place across campus leading up to the big day.
